The Biltmore Estate’s Summer Concert Series is in full swing. Gladys Knight performed Thursday night, and B.B. King performs tonight. Gladys put on a great show I hear – I only caught the first couple of songs, and the rumor was that a surviving “Pip” was in the audience.
But everyone today is buzzing about King being in town. Should be a great show. I’ll be attending to photograph for the Mountain Xpress.

Gladys Knight was a treat. I was enthralled, despite being initially annoyed by the show starting a half hour late. If you go to the Biltmore series though, don’t be disabled. Huge hassle getting in and out and the bathrooms are at the opposite ass end of America’s largest home.
