UNCA Bulldog Kenny George, the tallest man in college basketball, helped his team pull out yet another victory Monday night. UNCA’s on a roll leading up to this weekend’s home game.

Seven foot seven inch Kenny George scores 15 points, including some huge buckets down the stretch, as UNC-Asheville hands the Coastal men their third straight loss, 56-52. The Bulldogs are now 17-4 and 6-0 in league action. UNCA was paced by George’s game-high 15 points, seven rebounds and six blocked shots.

Go Bulldogs!

SI game story.

NBADraft.net has these notes:

Notes: Kenny George is right out of a fictional novel. If his basketball career doesn’t take off, he could certainly look into a career in movies as his 7-foot-8 size could make him an Andre the Giant or Gheorghe Muresan type of star on the big screen … Has a chance to lead college basketball in shot blocking this season … By all reports a great kid with a lot of fans and supporters. When you see him play, it’s hard not to root for him …
