   "ghetto sledding" is the name the makers of the YouTube video gave their video. so it’s not my title. they’re entitled to their own sense of irony.

   Asheville has no ghettos. This (in the video clip) is not a ghetto. Read about Poland in 1939-1945 or the big cities of America in the past century and a half, and get some perspective. Yes, Asheville, like America, has used public housing and other public policies to segregate our citizens by income and race. But there is nothing in Asheville remotely resembling ghettos in history and around the world today.
   Asheville news writers and commenters, please get some perspective from a wider world.
