As Ashvegas music correspondant McFly told us, “anytime you’ve got a Neville in a band, you know it’s going to be funky.”

No doubt. Ivan Neville’s Dumpsta Phunk was just plain nasty Saturday evening. These guys jammed. The crowd loved them. That’s Ivan, son of New Orleans legend Aaron, on keyboard.

Ashvegas and father say the Neville Bros. back in the day in Charlottesville – we have a long appreciation, and much love, for the Nawlins Nevilles.
