From snow to sun: Ray’s Weather says get through this week, and you’ll see near 70-degree weather in Asheville next week

Even though we have two snow events to deal with this week, a big pattern change is coming. This graphic shows jet stream level winds for Sunday February 13. You don’t have to be a genius to figure out if our air is coming from the Baja and northern Mexico, MUCH warmer weather is coming. In about 9-10 days (February 15-16 time frame), we’ll be talking 60s in Boone, 70ish in Asheville, and 70s in the Foothills.
