From Carol Motsinger of the Asheville Citizen-Times:

Asheville’s Hooters on Kenilworth Drive has reopened as Brewmeisters Sports Tavern.

It’s the third Hooters in the country that has reopened as this concept after Hooters across the region closed early this month, said Brian Greene, regional manager Owls Eyes Inc., which operates the Asheville Hooters.

“The menu is mainly like tavern, pub food,” he said. “We have chicken wings, burgers, seafood and sandwiches.”

It is apparently already a bust! As of May 28th with notices on the doors about delinquent taxes and missing fire inspections. At least the neighbors won't have to listen to another stupid bike night.

It's still a bad location. Does the market really need another place to drink beer and watch sports? My prediction, one year and out.
