Mountain Xpress has the news of award-winners:

We know it wasn’t a competition. Organizer and artiste extraordinaireJenny Greer told us so. But still the awards were notable:

  • “Best use of plastic tiger” to singer/songwriter/Band of Horser Tyler Ramsey and Studio South, for their “A Long Dream About Swimming Across the Sea” vid.
“Best use of rollergirls” to about-to-take-things-by-storm indie rockersArizona and director Chusy Jardine for “Colors.”
“Best performance on stairs” to retro uke-abilly duo Mad Tea Party and director Skizz Cyzyk, for “Every Way.”

Plus the best video went to newcomers Ice Horse, for their “Cheese Pirates” video, which looks a lot like you might expect … and also not at all. Runner up was the Poles and director Donald Bailey, for the stunning “We Dine in White.”
