Saw Johnson’s Crossroad at the Feed & Seed in early January. Was blown away by the acoustics. The group of four used one mic and sounded great!
Feed and Seed is one of the best venues in the Asheville area. The sound is only paralleled by the Grey Eagle. Every time we’ve played there, the crowd has been warm, enthusiastic, and dancing! Although this is a donation-only gig, between that and CD sales it’s historically been one of our most lucrative in town gigs. It’s friendly, Phillip Trees (owner/manager) is a great guy, and they are bringing some great talent onto their stage. We always look forward to playing there.
I have been there, and shot Dehlia Low there. There’s no liquor there – but the acoustics are OUT OF THIS WORLD there. I highly suggest checking out some shows there! It’s worth the beer withdrawals – the sound is really THAT good!
