AIN Online has the story:

Seven former Million Air FBOs have joined in a marketing partnership with Odyssey Aviation Bahamas to form a new Odyssey Aviation FBO network. The seven new Odyssey FBOs are located at New Orleans (Lakefront Airport); Asheville, N.C.; Charleston, S.C.; Chicago (Midway Airport); Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio; and Lafayette, La. Odyssey Aviation Bahamas was also a Million Air franchisee until early last year.

Although last year Ken Allison, owner of the seven U.S. Odyssey bases, and Million Air Interlink filed lawsuits against each other, those have been settled, according to Allison, “and there are no hard feelings between Million Air and ourselves. It was time for a fresh start. We wanted to have the freedom to do the things we thought were important.”

Allison and Odyssey Aviation Nassau president Steven Kelly worked together during the past decade as Million Air franchisees and share many philosophies about best practices and the direction of the industry and how to partner with customers “to create a seamless extension to a flight department.” Odyssey Aviation’s independence from a major national chain or franchise system, Kelly said, allows the FBOs “the freedom and flexibility to change as we see fit.” Allison and Kelly don’t plan to invite other FBOs to join the Odyssey brand, and any expansion of Odyssey will remain within the current ownership structure.
