Fireworks over Asheville set for New Year’s Eve

The skies over downtown Asheville will light up again on New Year’s Eve as The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa sponsors the final Seasonal Sizzle for 2009. 

Beginning at 7 p.m., the season will sizzle with spectacle, savings and chances to splurge. Holiday magic will literally be in the air as the night sky over Asheville sparkles. The lively atmosphere will go well into the evening with events like a New Year’s Eve party at Elaine’s Dueling Piano Bar and special discounts at Grove Park Inn’s award winning restaurants. Visitors are invited to view the final Seasonal Sizzle at Seven fireworks from one of many vantage points at The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, including the Sunset Terrace, Blue Ridge Dining Room, Magnolia Lounge and Horizons.
