The cruel joke that is one Larry Blunt has long overstayed the welcome of it’s tiring punchline. If WLOS cares about it’s viewers, then show us by putting kracher back in the anchor chair by 6pm today….
I’m glad to find this posting opportunity. Frank always made News 13 come to life. His commitment to professionalism and being involved in the community won him widespread respect across the WLOS audience. It would be great to have him back.
The guy is definitely cool.
i couldn’t agree more. i’m one of those people who believes it matters where and who you get your news from and when frank kracher was anchoring i had the same feeling as a tom brokaw. he’s a serious journalist AND he’s your next door neighbor and someone you can hear speak about difficult subjects. to be honest i don’t watch the local news all that much since he left. i say bring em back!
Frank Kracher drawing this kind of viewer outpouring does not surprise me. We have only one TV station in Asheville and he seemed to understand that dynamic so well. He has a strong sense of this mountain community and truly gets what living here is really all about. It is time for News 13 to make a change on the anchor desk.
