Election Day 2008: Is everybody here? Is everybody ready?

It’s here. Finally. I’ll be running all over creation, but I’ll be checking in periodically. If you hear anything about lines at the polls, or if you have any election news at all (like “I voted!”) drop me a line. I’d love to hear from you. ([email protected])

It looks like a lovely day. My plan is to hit the streets early and check in on some polling places. It occurs to me that this will the first presidential election in my working life not spent in the newsroom of a daily newspaper. More thoughts on that later.

    It is finally done. Maybe this nationwide tension will run down quickly and we can get on with the real issues.

    I early voted…oh and I like the old journal better, unless you can incorporate the Ashvegas logo, it was swell.

    I almost got confused and thought I entered the wrong blog ….

    Chris and I took Levi to vote today … and he slept the entire time!!! I was so bummed …

    Based on my read of the last polls to come out Obama wins with 55% of popular vote & 378 electoral, McCain 160 in electoral & 43% popular.
