I missed the Monday screening, but here’s the rest:

Hi,

I wanted to let you know that ON COAL RIVER is one of six films screening in 70 cities across the country this month, as part of Whole Foods Market’s “Do Something Reel” Film Festival.

The latest list of venues/cities/dates is below, along with Whole Foods’ press release.  (Locally, we’re screening Monday April 4th at Warren Wilson’s Jensen Lecture Hall, with Director Q&A to follow.)

Shot over a period of five years, ON COAL RIVER follows a former coal miner, and his neighbors in a David-and-Goliath struggle for the future of their valley, their children, and life as they know it.

ON COAL RIVER recently won Best Documentary at the Appalachian Film Festival and the Appalachian Studies Association’s Spadaro Documentary Prize, and it was previously nominated for an IFP/Gotham Award.

cheers,

Adams
