Deployment ceremony for Asheville’s 105th Military Police Battalion set for Feb. 24

The deployment ceremony for the N.C. National Guard’s 105th Military Police Battalion is set for Feb. 24 at Trinity Baptist Church. 

This will be the second deployment ceremony for a local guard unit headed back to war in Iraq/Afghanistan. A ceremony was held recently for the National Guard’s Flat Rock-based 163rd Area Support Medical Company.
