I am guessing that all of you who say the concept of Off the Wagon is “ridiculous” were frequent members of Cinjades or other “fine” establishments such as various hotel night clubs or pretentious bars where the locals pretend to be high class society but they are just your average redneck/ghetto citizens. Sure Asheville has Elaine’s at Grove Park Inn but the piano players seem restricted as to what they can and cannot do because of stuck up management. I think this concept is a great idea and it actually makes me want to venture downtown again! Plus, according to the website, it’s veterans owned, and I think we can all agree that Asheville needs more pro military and veteran based businesses
It’s open FYI! Great place!!
Is this a gay bar?
Asheville already has a piano bar @ the Grove Park. I love going there, its awesome!
Asheville has officially turned into a cruise line
YES!!! Cannot wait!
flair??! i thought that was reserved for tgiwhatstherename. if i want to see clowns, i go to a circus. i go to a bar to get a drink. what a joke.
This is not just a bar. It involves live music that is entirely request based. It’s a show. So why not have the bartenders be in on it? It’s something that downtown Asheville desperately needs. There’s way more than one place to just go to for a drink in this town.
This is not something Asheville “desperately needs.” That’s ridiculous.
It’s a new and different place compared to all the bars being the same in Asheville. What’s so ridiculous about that??
One man’s silly diversion is another man’s deperate need.
How much flair should one have? 15 is the minimum, but I’m sure they want folks to express themselves. Don’t they?
I havent stopped laughing since I read this post this morning…thanks!
Fucking Ridiculous!
