Correction: Owner of Salsa’s buys new building, but says there are no plans to move

Here’s a correction to a post I wrote a couple of weeks ago about the popular Salsa’s restaurant in downtown Asheville. Contrary to my post, the owner of Salsa’s, Hector Diaz, says he’s not planning a move any time soon.

Diaz recently purchased the building above on Broadway in downtown Asheville. And Diaz would like to transform the space into a restaurant – some time in the future. But right now, everything remains in place, with Salsa’s serving up its unique Mexican-Carribean food at 6 Patton Avenue near Pack Square.
