Here’s the info, from loyal reader Carolyn. Sounds cool!

It’s that time of year again when all of us at Eliada are gearing up for the annual corn maze

We’ve really added a lot this year in terms of attractions as well as events at the maze. For example, in addition to the 12 acres of maze trails, we’ve now got corn cannons (yes, I said corn cannons!), a cow train, a slackline challenge, a pumpkin house, a giant haybale maze, horse & buggy rides, and a corn box, which is a giant sandbox filled with corn kernels and sandbox toys. Fun!

On Friday nights, we’re having a “Fun Fridays” event series that includes a bluegrass and barbecue night, classic car show, live music events, and more.

Despite the rainy weather, we had 10,000 people last year. This year, we’re hoping to double that!

I attached our aerial and the full press release on the event. If you get a chance, check out our website: www.fieldsoffun.org.

Thanks a bunch for any help you can lend!

Operating Hours & Ticket Prices

The maze will be open each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning September 17 through Halloween. Operating hours are 4-10 on Friday, 10-10 on Saturday, and 10-7 on Sunday. Ticket prices are $9 for adults 12 and over and $7 for children ages 5-11. Group admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children. A group is considered 20 or more individuals.

Volunteer & Visit the Maze for Free!

Eliada needs almost 400 volunteers to make the event a success! Volunteers serve for 3 hour shifts and perform jobs like helping in the concession stand, supervising the pedal carts, acting as guides, and much more. Each volunteer receives two free tickets, a small snack, and a big thank you! Visit the volunteer page at http://fieldsoffun.org to sign up for the slot that works best for your schedule.

Field of Screams

This year, event organizers planted a separate field of corn for “Field of Screams,” Eliada’s haunted corn maze. The haunted maze will open October 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30, & 31 from dusk – until. “Field of Screams” is not recommended for young children, and tickets are a flat rate of $12.
