From loyal readers Mike and Carol:

A few weeks ago a Mexican restaurant next to the Rush Fitness Center on Patton Avenue was torn down. They’re building a second Cook-Out there.

Asheville’s first Cook-Out was built a couple years ago on Tunnel Road.

Hell yeah. Cookout is the $hit. You can go workout at the rush the when your nice and sweaty you can get yourself and burger and munch down hard.

I wish "Cook Out" had a place to "Eat In." The food and shakes are great, but I don't like having to eat them in my car on cold or rainy days.

Nope. I say more Cook-Outs and less artsy fartsy restaurants.

I love that fake cook out smell that reminds me of the fact that I need a burger with chili, slaw and onions. Yay for cook-out right next to my gym!

I hate how that place stinks up the whole Asheville Mall area with its fake cookout smoke smell that it pumps out. This is a gimmick that needs to stop.
