Dear Roy,

Congratulations on being named national Coach of the Year. You deserve it, dude. You’ve done an absolutely great job since you’ve joined the Tar Heels, and we really appreciate it.

It looked like you had a great time working with all the freshman on the team this year. Like you really enjoyed teaching the young guys. And having them respond – must have been a nice switch from the frustrating, but ultimately satisfying, year before.

Anyway, congratulations again. You deserved it. Thanks for taking fans like us for a great ride. We can’t wait to see what next year brings.
