Press release here:

Class Act Players presents Radium Girls, by D.W. Gregory, Saturday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 29 at 2:30 p.m.at the Masonic Temple Theatre in Downtown Asheville. Admission is a suggested donation of $10.00.

Radium Girls is a historical drama, based on the events that took place in and around Orange, New Jersey, between 1918 and 1928. In 1926, Radium was considered a miraculous cure-for-all, and luminous watches painted by the same element were the latest fad – until the girls who painted them one by one fell ill with a mysterious and deadly illness. Radium Girls follows the story of Grace Fryer, one of the sick dial painters, as she battles both her former employers and even her own family and friends for her day in court.

Class Act Players (CAP) is a part of First Stage Youth Theatre (FSYT). FSYT is a nonprofit community arts organization, founded in 2007.
