City council to offer ‘city progress report’ to West Asheville

From a press release today. This meeting might be of interest to Ashevilleans interested in the ongoing conversation about New Belgium, a more multi-modal  West Asheville, and local traffic concerns.

There is no mention of New Belgium being present at the meeting, but city council and “presenter” will be in attendance :

City Council to hold west Asheville community meeting at Hall Fletcher Elementary School

ASHEVILLE – Asheville City Council will hold a community meeting for west Asheville residents and stakeholders on Tuesday, January 29 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.  The meeting will be held at Hall Fletcher Elementary School at 60 Ridgelawn Road off Haywood Road.  City staff will present a city progress report for west Asheville.  A public input session will follow the presentations.  City Council and the presenters will be available to answer questions and take comments.
