You all know the history of Buncombe County’s zoning law. Well, it’s Groundhog Day – time to do it all over again. Reminder from Commissioner Holly Jones:

The Board of Commissioners has scheduled a public hearing to consider a limited moratorium for undesirable local land uses which includes: concrete plants, adult entertainment establishments, and slaughterhouses, to name a few. This public hearing is scheduled for Friday, April 3rd, 2 p.m. at 30 Valley Street in the new Board of Commissioner Chambers.

Eventually, there will also be a public hearing to re-instate zoning. I will notify you of this hearing when it is scheduled.
