well, thank you both very much. it’s good to know he’s still around. if you see him, tell him andrew from way back in macon sez hello. don’t remind him that i owe him that money, though. thanks again!
well, there you go andrew.
thanks Ashe-Villain!
yeah i know Howard. He works at Musicians Workshop on Merrimon and he is my neighbor.
andrew, my interweb searching show that a Howard Jefferson was playing with an Asheville band called Information Network the past few years, but there’s no recent listing of the band playing recently.
anybody else know if Howard is still around?
skeered or not, here’s something off-topic:
you seem to be a with-it kinda kid, you like "the music", you use the interweb pretty good… i’m a stranger down in atl, and i’m tryin’ to track down an asheville guitarist name of howard jefferson. now, i know, that ain’t got nothin to do with cowgirls or bumperstickers, but i can’t figure out where to get info in asheville. i tried the google and whatnot, but i reckon a hip fella (gal?) like you would know better.
howard used to work at the musician’s workshop, played in funk bands. he’s older, maybe 40 by now. tall. he shreds at home, but restrains himself in public. you know of a fella fits this description? i’d be happy to look elsewhere, if’n you know of community bulletin boards what discuss things like lost guitarists…
thanks
i ain’t skeered.
