Brewgrass and Beer City festival tickets set to on sale online at midnight

Here’s the announcement, via Facebook:

Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria Brewgrass and Beer City Festival tickets will be available online at brewgrassfestival.com at midnight.

The online sales have have been delayed due to an unspecified glitch with the Brewgrass website. Brewgrass tix were scheduled to go on sale May 1 (the website, in fact, still states that.)

Brewgrass is scheduled for Sept. 18. Festival organizers a few weeks ago were saying on Twitter that they may change the date because it conflicts with the Great American Beer Festival in Denver. I’ve heard no further discussion about it.

Beer City Festival tickets have already been on sale at breweries around Asheville. This new festival is coming right up in a couple of weeks.

Tickets online are apparently sold out although some may be available locally later, so I hear. MANY local people who have loyally gone to this event every year are left out on the cold this year with no tickets. From what I can tell there was not an email notification (friends did not get one either), and I have been on the Brewgrass email notification list since it started. If you don’t constantly check Facebook and Twitter then you were left out on this one.

Thanks, Ash for the notification here or else I would not have gotten my ticket.
