Folks, this entry is why you love Ashvegas. You won’t see this side of the street party anywhere else. So let me walk you through this.
I’m hanging out listening to Yo Mamma’s Big Bad Booty Band at the Battery Park stage, just minding my own business, trying to get some shots of people having a good time, when I hear a little commotion behind me.

I turn to see this guy wiping his mouth. And the sea of people has parted to reveal a perfect halo of steaming vomit on the street. Luckily, it didn’t appear to hit anyone, but it was a close call. He was holding a fifth of Jack Daniels in one hand and a beer in the other. He was wearing a wristband, but I don’t think they sell bourbon at Bele Chere

Everyone got as far away from the nastiness as possible. The blown chunks parted the people in an instant.

But after the initial shock wore off, folks started moving back in. A couple of brave souls flirted with the pile, sort of like dancing round a bonfire. There’s a certain forbidden thrill in playing in someone’s puke.
The dude who spewed was so drunk that he just played it off and kept partying. Yep, that’s him in the navy blue T-shirt. Rock on, dude. Rock on.

Thanks for capturing this wonderful moment on film. I must have been standing within a few feet of you because I was able to witness this for myself. After the incident, he poured the rest of his bourbon into a plastic cup, and within minutes he had spilled it all over the ground. I was amazed the guy kept on dancing after that.
