Tony Kiss, aka the Beer Guy, blogs that Asheville’s Belgian beer bar, the Thirsty Monk, will hold its own little in-house beer festival starting Monday, Aug. 27. It’s dubbed the Thirsty Feast.

The Monk will have a completely different beer selection starting on that day – they’re releasing 30 rare kegs they’ve been holding back. The treats include a casked and spiced version of Oskar Blues’ Mama’s Little Yella Pils, and brews from Allagash, Rogue, Stone and the famous Foothills Sexual Chocolate.

Check it.

From TM website: Looks like it is Monday, Aug 30.

    First Annual "Thirsty Fest"
Date: Aug 30 until when we run out of kegs, 2010
Time:4pm-close, each day. NO ENTRANCE FEE, just pay for the beer you would like to drink!
Thirsty Fest is our version of a Beer Festival. The goal is to transform all of our draft lines to “one-offs”.

It is Monday, August 30, just a few days away. 36 draft releases, 3 casks.

August 27th is a Friday, not a Monday. However, in the month of September, the 27th is a monday. So, it is August 27th the Friday, or September 27th the Monday?
