The company was incorporated in 1994 and is based in Waynesville, North Carolina. On February 5, 2009, Wolfpen Associates, Inc. filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
