Avett Brothers sell out Asheville Civic Center for New Year’s Eve show

The Asheville Citizen-Times reports that the Avett Brothers have sold out the Asheville Civic Center for their big New Year’s Eve Show.

All tickets for the Avett Brothers’ New Year Eve’s concert have been sold, the Asheville Civic Center said today. The event will bring an additional 6,400 people to downtown Asheville on a busy New Year’s Eve.

The Civic Center arena holds more than 6,400, but promoters of the event curtained off the area behind the stage.

That’s great. The crowd will make for a great party atmosphere. I’m still not thrilled with the venue, but I’m willing to give them a chance.
