Here are a couple of Election 2010 events, set for UNCA. There are tons more coming up in the next few weeks leading up to the November election.

Candidate Forum Meet & Greet The League of Women Voters and NCCCR present a Candidate Forum and Meet & Greet. The forum will feature candidates for NC House 114,115 & 116. This will be a question and answer format, and will include a short summary from each candidate. Following the Candidate Forum there will be a Meet & Greet – an informative yetinformal way to meet candidates running for US House District 11, NC Senate District 48 & 49, District Attorney 28, Sheriff of Buncombe County, Clerk of Superior Court, Superior Court Judge- District 28 and District Court Judge- District 28.

Understanding the Mid-Term Elections Dr. Bill Sabo of the UNC-Asheville’s Political Science Department joins us once again this year to shed some light on the intricacies and outcomes of the upcoming mid-term elections.
