Nothing of value was in the time capsule.
By the way, I have the audio tape recording of the dedication ceremony with all the speeches by dignitaries and a complete description of everything that was put in the time capsule.
I was there when they had the unearthing of the time capsule at the terrace and they showed the last movies. It was so cool but yes it was taken out and went through. I was 15 so I don’t remember what was inside I’m sorry
I was there when they put the time capsule in the ground. I have often thought about it over the years and wondered what ever happened to it. If anyone knows I hope they will share this with me.
I used to run two of those old Plitt Theaters – Thruway in Winston Salem and Terrace in Greensboro. Both had the time capsules and now both are gone. I never found out what happened to the capsules.
I hate the the Terrace is gone. I could have been a nice dollar house.
I would be interested in this also!
Oh wow – what a neat story. I hope someone knows what the deal is & has a clue as to the capsule's whereabouts.
