Ashvegas reader: What’s up with the caution tape around Asheville bus stop locations?

From loyal Ashvegas reader Brian:

Jason, I noticed around town that there is yellow caution tape tied to bus signs and was wondering if someone was trying to make a statement (or if the Transit System had a reason). I have noticed this on about 10 or 15 signs, primarily in the S. French Broad area. I first noticed one about a week ago.

Is this some kind of statement referencing all the trouble that Asheville Transit buses have been having lately, or something else?
