Here’s an Ashvegas reader’s recommendation – Marah on June 30 at the Grey Eagle:

I wanted to give you a heads up about an amazing show happening tomorrow at the Grey Eagle: Marah (rhymes with ‘hurrah’). They’re a rock n’ roll band from Philadelphia who I booked to play at UNCA when I was a senior there in 2008.

They are, without a doubt, one of the most high-energy, entertaining acts around today. If you could post a blurb to Ashvegas about the concert, I’d really appreciate it. Their website is here, and you can check out a few clips of their performances here (playing with Bruce Springsteen) and here. Tickets are only 10 bucks (tomorrow night at 8), and I can gurantee the show will be amazing.

They played the Grey Eagle on a New Year’s Eve YEARS ago… to about 10 people. Amazing show and good times afterwards.
