That place was a shithole. I went there with some friends once got awful servcie and just ended up throwing some money on the table and leaving because we could never get a waitress to bring us our bill.
I think I saw that something else is going to be opening up there or maybe just recently opened.
When I was in the bar business 2 years ago, there were four guys that used to come into the bar that said they put up the money for Arun Krishnan to be in business. These guys were all employees of the paper plant. Arun came in with them on pool tournament nights and played pool.
Aruns pub was nice and had good food. But my old customers said they had heard something fishy had happened the night of the alleged break in.
Kind of like the Richmond Hill Inn situation – there was a lot of money owed and involved.
