Maybe instead of pointing fingers and expecting other people to do it, some concerned citizens should get together and volunteer to clean up different sections of the city. I’d certainly be willing to put in a few hours to help out.

The City will tell you that the sidewalk and "gutter" in front of a business (in the City) is the responsibility of the business that they front ….
Yes, I agree that there seems to be a lot more trash, overgrown weeds and more graffitti especially near downtown. The stretch of Broadway heading north toward UNCA is bad. Some of the alleys downtown near the Grove Arcade and around Lexington Ave are really filthy.
