All politics is LOCAL……and, ‘smarmyness’ aside….the BALANCE OF POWER and THE FUTURE OF OUR CITY, RIVERS & MOUNTAINS is on the line…NOW.
Think about 2027…and beyond…for yourself, your children and YOUR ‘Sweet Home Ashvegas’.
VOTE FOR THOSE WHO WILL PROTECT OUR BELOVED SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN MOUNTAINS and remember the hard-learned and sad lessons of Charlotte, Atlanta, Greenville-Spartanburg, Orlando, Myrtle Beach, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
Thanx ASH……for another chance to ‘BLOG ON!’
-Twain…..back in SPNC…after my ‘Music City 600’ I-81 & I-40 drive.
The field hasn’t been this close though in YEARS.
He had 200 more votes than Lite did. and 400 more than the guy behind her.
But yes, I do personally dislike him as he is wildly incompetent and a smarmy ass (my friend was a campaign aid on his last failed attempt), and believe you me, the people who got the independent primary back on the ballot will make a big push AGAINST him and brownie in the real election.
The difference is Brownie is much better liked and will weather the storm much better.
A to the P, just because you do not like Freeborn does not mean he will not when. In 2005 he made a huge leap from the primary to the general election. Historically the gap only widens between the top three and the bottom 3. If you look at the numbers it is always close in the primary.
I wouldn’t be dancing if three political unknowns almost beat me in the primary…lol.
Brian Freeborn, ex-councilman come november. That’s my prediction
Love this. Thanks for the big laugh!
