Ash: Please remind your readers that the VERVE-aciously BIG Idea Business Plan Competition for women entrepreneurs (which this Boca event helps support) has a deadline of April 1 — just 10 days away! The contest is sponsored by VERVE and the entrepreneurial development program at AdvantageWest, and carries a prize package worth $10,000 in cash, business support services and expert advice.
The winner will be named at AdvantageWest's Carolina Connect business and entrepreneur conference on May 5 at the Renaissance, and will be profiled in VERVE in June. Full competition guidelines are available at the VERVE website. Thanks for supporting the women entrepreneurs in Western North Carolina by helping us get the word out about this contest.
