Asheville’s new beer and wine store, Appalachian Vinter, plans big grand-opening event

Here’s the friendly note I received recently from store owner Geoff Alexander:

We were referred to you by some lovely ladies in Biltmore Village. We are Asheville’s newest wine and beer store, Appalachian Vintner.

The store is located a 1/4 mile North of the Historic Biltmore Village directly behind Biltmore Fitness. International and regional beer and wine are our specialty, but we also stock fine foods, and art from all over the Appalachian Mountain Chain.

The shop hosts free wine tastings Wed and Sat from 4-8, our regular hours are Mon-Sat 10-8. I have attached a copy of our Grand Opening flier, hopefully we can gain some exposure through your blog site. We would love to speak to you in person if possible. Thank you for your time.
