Asheville’s Firecracker Jazz Band will perform at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., from 6-7 p.m. on Nov. 15 as part of the Swing, Swing, Swing festival. Details her at JazzTimes. The show will be streamed live on the internets. Go here at 6 p.m. on Nov. 15 to listen.

The band’s next local show is at MoDaddy’s on Nov. 26, an event that will serve as a CD release party for Firecracker’s new album Firecracker Jazz Band Meets the Wild Man.

It’s great exposure for one of Asheville’s great bands. Check ’em.

Thank you Ashvegas for informing the public about this wonderful opportunity for our band. It's our great pleasure to represent Asheville at such a prestigious performing arts center.
