Asheville Sister Cities to host two dinners honoring partner cities in Mexico and Greece

Asheville Sister Cities, Inc. (ASCI) has two upcoming dinners that will honor its sister cities in Mexico (San Cristóbal de las Casas and Valladolid) and Greece (Karpenisi).

First up is a Latin dinner evening at Havana Comida Latina at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, which is Independence Day in Mexico. This four-course dinner will be complemented by Latin music and dancing on the sidewalk. Cost is $40 per person, with reservation and advance payment required. Please RSVP to [email protected]. Havana Comida Latina is located at One Battle Sq.

On Sunday, Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m., ASCI will host a Greek dinner evening at The Mediterranean. In addition to a delectable spread of traditional Greek cuisine, there will be a raffle to benefit ASCI programs. Cost is $40 per person, with reservation and advance payment required. Please RSVP to [email protected]. The Mediterranean is located at 57 College St.
