Press release here:
Asheville’s well-loved community event, the Holiday Bazaar, brings local food and gifts to the heart of downtown Asheville. The event, now in its ninth year, and held this year at the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, allows shoppers to support local farmers and artisans as they celebrate the holidays. The Holiday Bazaar is open Saturday, December 3, 10, and 17 from 11:00a.m.-3:00p.m. at  36 Montford Avenue.
It may be winter, but you can still make your special holiday meals and party foods from the best, local ingredients, including these, offered at the Bazaar:
Breads, cookies, pastries, all natural fruit cakes, and other baked goods, including gluten free options
Sorghum molasses, jam, mustard, and other preserves
Eggs, cheeses, lamb, beef, rabbit, pork, salmon, and NC coastal seafood
Fresh vegetables
Chocolates, grits, cornmeal and more.
In addition to food, you’ll find local gifts and decorations for sale at the Holiday Bazaar:
Christmas trees, wreathes, and swags
Potted, forced bulbs, ready to bloom indoors in winter
Soaps and beauty products
Pottery, clothing, and other items handmade by regional artisans
