I’m not sure how interested you are in reporting on school issues, but I thought I’d give you a heads up on this in case you thought it might be interesting. Asheville City Schools has put together a “School Uniform Task Force” looking into the pros and cons of implementing a school uniform policy Asheville City School system wide.

The first meeting of this task force is March 2, 5:30 at the Board of Ed. There will be 4 more meetings before the issue is opened up for public comment. I’m not sure how many parents in the system are even aware that this “task force” has been put together and I thought you might want to follow it.
