Asheville celebrity sighting: Ben Stiller at Biltmore Village

Word on the street today is that funny man/movie star Ben Stiller was spotted two days ago at the Corner Kitchen restaurant in Biltmore Village.

Stiller is hot these days – he stars in the new movie Tower Heist with Eddie Murphy and co. From IMDB:

When a group of hard working guys find out they’ve fallen victim to a wealthy business man’s Ponzi scheme, they conspire to rob his high-rise residence.

Here’s another bit of Stiller trivia: can you name the movie Stiller starred in that was shot in Western North Carolina? If you said Heavyweights, you’d be correct!

Ash, you're going soft. Your blog used to hold WLOS's feet to the first but ever since you joined the big boys at the ACT you cover ever fourth hand, rumored siting of celebrities and never take on the silliness of WLOS's "news" broadcast. You had reported several celebrity sitings around Asheville (both rumored and confirmed) yet have not had a single post about this year's City Council election. Afraid of stepping on the toes of your Gannet overlords?
