From the Asheville Citizen-TimesBeer Guy:

If President Barack Obama gets a tad thirsty during his weekend visit to Asheville, the local breweries are waiting with open arms and taps.

It’s no secret that the president enjoys a cold one now and then. Obama was famously spotted last year enjoying a Bud Light. And Asheville’s big craft brew community is ready to bring out its best stuff for the leader of the free world. The president should know that Asheville (and Portland, Ore.) share the unofficial title of Beer City USA.

Asheville Brewing Co. is planning a limited-release brew called President’s Spring Break Ale in honor of his visit. The beer, to be sold in 22-ounce bottles, is actually their Houdini Extra Special Pale.
