Here’s the note, from loyal reader Bob:

Hello and happy new year!
As a lover of local beers in Asheville, I decided to kick off 2010 right and organize a pub crawl in Asheville this Saturday, January 2.  Everybody is welcome to participate and the schedule is very simple:

Saturday January 2, 2010
Pisgah (to whomever wants to make the drive): 2:15pm-3:30pm
Meet at Wedge Brewery: 4pm-5:45pm
Dirty Jack’s: 6pm-7pm
Craggie Brewing: 7pm-8pm
Asheville Brewing Company: 8pm-til
(French Broad Brewery is closed on Saturday)
Thanks,
Bob

I am so sorry I missed this pub crawl. So LAB is open now, huh?
Can we do a repeat in a few months–say March 2010?

Perfect timing! We will be launching a new web site to promote all of the microbreweries in Asheville and WNC by 2/1, http://www.asheville-microbreweries.com. The pub crawl will give me an excellent opportunity to shoot photos of hopheads enjoying themselves. On our web site there will be a hopheads photo gallery. Looking forward to it.

Don’t forget the LAB on Lexington will be open by then. See if it is worth the wait?
