The new Asheville Arcade is planned for the former Jolie Rouge space in downtown Asheville at the corner to College and Market. From Asheville Arcade’s page on Facebook:

ARCADE is a vintage video and pinball arcade opening in December on Pack Square in Asheville, NC.

I hear there is a plan for lots of Wii games, as well.

LAME. The owner of The Arcade came up to me, with the worst attitude right off the bat (I hadn't been causing any trouble!)and told me, that I couldn't "double fist" my drinks, when clearly I was finishing one and moving onto the next. Furthermore, you can't order two drinks at the bar without producing the other person whom you are buying a drink for. Finally, the video game controllers were all busted and didn't work – kinda the whole point – so I'm calling bunk.

Well, that cuts it. I'm coming back, posthaste.

Modern arcades suck like the current Saturday morning "cartoons".
