We caught these dudes rather sheepishly posting flyers for the “Anti-Bele Chere” concert at Stellas on Saturday. We’ve never really understood how this is anti Bele Chere. It’s happening on Bele Chere weekend. Stella’s is right downtown, in the middle of Bele Chere. We don’t know. But it’s another music venue to check out.

the "anti-bele chere" shows started @ green eggs & jam (now static age records) a few years ago – it was basically a way for local punk and metal bands who wouldn’t even have a snowball’s chance in hell of playing the festival to thumb their noses at the festival organizers and make some noise in the process.
