Andie MacDowell’s daughter pursuing musical career

Loyal reader Kathi recently gave me a heads-up that Rainsford Qualley, the daughter of Asheville’s beloved starlet Andie MacDowell, has a band called Rainsford. I’m a big fan of Andie, but I had no idea her daughter was pursuing a musical career.

Turns out Rainsford can sing. Check out her video, and give the tunes on her reverbnation page a listen. They’re a little unpolished, but still pretty darn good. Rainsford recently performed at the NC Film Office reception at Sundance, so despite the lack of activity on the reverb page, is sounds like Rainsford still singing.

When can we get her to perform in Asheville?

She's actually pretty good. I'd like to hear what she sounds like with a decent mic in a studio.
