Kipper –
You got the right idea! I'd love to see something like that – an I <3 Local Asheville business celebration day. Take the historical meaning of the day & celebrate it in style & positivity.
Gotta love that get back at the man by attacking small businesses.
this "asheville 11" thing is absurd and overblown for a bunch of
kids with incoherent politics inexplicably vandalizing local
businesses.
I'm sure there are hundreds of people charged with crimes in Asheville every year who deserve our sympathy more. but they don't get to be some kind of (very obscure) cause célèbre.
Still supremely underwhelmed by the "Asheville 11". Anyone want to get together on the night of May 1st and do some good works for small businesses in Asheville?
That's solidarity.

it's hard to say that all of anything are the same …. Christians, Muslims, Atheists, political parties, african-americans, asians, caucasians, cats, dogs, snowflakes …
I think it is a stretch to link the accused "11", with any and all groups claiming to be "anarchists" .
