A merry Christmas parade w/ Larry and Tammy

   Anyone watching the taped Christmas Parade coverage on WLOS this Thanksgiving morning? Maybe it’s just me, but Larry Blunt seems to be visiting downtown Asheville for the very first time. Tammy Watford is walking him through this, helping him learn as he goes, being forced to explain everything to her "co-host". My god, folks, this guy has been at News 13 for more than three years and he sounds like a tourist. And I’m not talking about the baseball team. Although Mr. Blunt continues to come across as a Minor League player. I thought it was just the silly tree hat, but it is obviously much worse than that!

   Hey Abra Cat, that is not Tammy’s hair, it’s some sort of Christmas hat. Plus, Ms. Watford is a cutie-pie any way you look at it. The same cannot be said for old Tree Head sitting there next to her. Mr. Blunt pegs the Goober Meter!

   That’s Tammy?? I was across the street and saw her, but I did not recognize her as Tammy. I thought it was someone else who I know realize is no longer with the station. I can’t recall her name.

   This one is just too easy, like shooting ducks in a barrel. We all know who would have made the right wardrobe decision, politely declined the clown hat and instead relied on his own natural, good sense of humor to get the job done at the Christmas Parade. I guess I’ll leave it that.

   So appropriate that they made Larry Blunt wear a dunce cap at the Christmas Parade, but why was he not sitting off in a corner by himself? Bah, humbug!
