I am not gay, but I will say this: Asheville would not be what it is today without the gay population.
Montford wouldn’t be what it is today and downtown had some key gay owned businesses that put our ctiy on the map too.
Give or take, 10% of the population is gay. A pox on anyone who preys on people who have just as much a right to be here as the rest of us.
